Central Oregon Flat Roofs Need Maintenance Over Time

With the recent trend towards modern style housing and flat roofs, we are seeing more and more membrane roofs being installed on Central Oregon homes. With this increase, we are also seeing more and more roofs exhibiting ponding, which at first does not appear to be too bad, but will continue to get worse over time and cause damage to the structure of your roof.

According to the National Roofing Contractor's Association, water must remain on your roof for 24-48 hours to be considering Ponding. Often this occurs in the dips in the roof around the drains.
